Holiday Reeeeeeeecap

You'd think with 2 months having gone by, I'd have a lot to share.... well, that's questionable.

1) THANKSGIVING - remember that holiday? The one where you ate more than you said you were going to?
I flew out to CO to spend this holiday with my favorite mama.  I knew it was going to be a good trip as soon as I got free movies and a complimentary "adult morning beverage" from the stewardesses just for being a nice passenger.  Is 6 am too early for a Cosmo? I think not, my friends, I think not.  The trip was pretty laid back and I just enjoyed seeing my family again!  Not too many pictures to be had from this endeavor, but I'll share what I got!

Sooo thirsty

Mama is my mini me :)

Rockin' my Ft Collins cowgirl look

2) PRE-CHRISTMAS - The time between Turkey day and Christmas where you end up going to a lot of parties.
My pre-Christmas consisted of an ugly sweater party which quickly escalated into dancing in an adult onesie.Reuniting with an old high school friend. The swanky swanky work party. Building a (not-so) structurally sound gingerbread house. And visiting MI to see who I could for the Holidays. Take a look!

Yea, I work out.

Freya and I!  Haven't seen her in 4+years!

Apparently the color this Christmas was black

It ended up looking like a house Chris Hansen would have to go to

Paying my respects to the senior citizen, Elmo

Geo got a gift too!

3) CHRISTMAS - I drew the short straw at work and had to be on-call :/ But I have a ton of awesome friends who made sure I wasn't flying solo on this day!
My good friend, Annie, and her family let me bum around with them most of Christmas day and even had a few things for me to open! They are just too damn sweet  (THANKS!!!).  As I'm not your standard conventional gal, Christmas dinner was eaten at one of the local fire departments and consisted of chinese take-out.  Dissapointly, there was no pole to slide down or dog to play with.....but they left the trucks unlocked and I got to play in them.  Plus I was rocking some sexy sexy socks.  Jealous much?  I know you are.

This is probably the last time I will willingly be invited into a fire house

4) NEW YEARS - Caio 2012!  Hola 2013!
A low key New Years was in order for me (Gosh.....I think I'm getting old).  Board games and snacks at Annie's house.   I supplied the dorky party hats and noise makers.  Her wonderfully adorable dog supplied me with my midnight smooch......hrmmmm.  My resolution this year: To be stupidly happy!

First photo of 2013! (my date is the really hairy one)

Michelle Tanner, you get me.

5) All other shenanigans.
Annie and I discovered this great place near my house where you can paint and drink! So, we paint and drink! They have it where you can paint whatever the *&%@# you want, or you can take a class. We've done both. It makes me feel like I actually have some artistic ability. Almost.

My other creation

I discovered circus school! And of course it's located in a random warehouse in a real shady part of town. But it's circus school!!!!  They do aerial fitness (cirque du soleil style).  The one day I've gone so far they had an aerial hoop (which I really like!) and a static trapeze.  The class was 2 hours and afterwards, I've never been so sore in my life! I'm almost a week out from it and I can still feel every muscle ache. Not to mention I have some awesome bruises on my knee pits from hanging upside down like a kid on a playground.

Neither of these is me - but you get the idea!

I got my lazy ass back up on the rock wall and started climbing again. I'll let you know if I get any sweet ass bruises from that, too

Well, friends. I think that's it for now! I think the next 2 months will be fairly quiet leading up to my trip, but I'll let you know if something exciting happens!
